Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Gaja was the sixth named cyclone of the 2018 North Indian Ocean cyclone season, after Cyclones Sagar, Mekunu, Daye, Luban, and Titli. Forming on November 5 as a low pressure system over the Gulf of Thailand, the system crossed through Southern Thailand and the Malay Peninsula and eventually crossed into the Andaman Sea. The weak system intensified into a depression over the Bay of Bengal on November 10 and further intensified to a cyclonic storm on November 11, being classified 'Gaja'. After tracking west-southwestward for a number of days in the Bay of Bengal, Gaja made landfall in South India, shifted through Vedaranyam, Thiruthuraipoondi, Muthupet, Pudukkottai, Adirampattinam, Pattukkottai and Peravurani. The storm survived its crossing into the Arabian Sea; however, it dissipated in hostile conditions only a few days later. 45 people were killed by the storm in that Thanjavur district pattukkotai alone 8 were killed. Gaja had severe impacts in South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu. After Cyclone Gaja, Tamil Nadu sought Rs 15,000 crore from Indian central government to rebuild.
Meteorological history[edit]
On November 5, a low pressure system formed over the Gulf of Thailand. The system crossed through Southern Thailand and the Malay Peninsula on November 8. The next day, it crossed into the Andaman Sea and lingered there, organizing further throughout the day and intensified into a depression over the Bay of Bengal on November 10. The next day, the system was designated by the IMD as BOB 09. Soon after, the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) issued a Tropical Cyclone Formation Alert (TCFA).
At 00:00 UTC on November 11, the deep depression strengthened into a cyclonic storm, and was given the name Gaja by the IMD. After tracking west-southwestward for a number of days, it made landfall near Nagapattinam in southern India, early on November 16 as a Very severe cyclonic storm. Afterward, Gaja passed through Vedaranyam, Voimedu, Muthupet, Pattukotai, Adirampattinam, and Mallipattinam, on the same day. The storm survived crossing over into the Arabian Sea later that day and continued moving westward; however, it degenerated into a remnant low in hostile conditions only several days later, on November 20. Late on the next day, the storm's remnants dissipated near Socotra.
Preparation, impacts and aftermath[edit]
Due to the possibility of adverse effects in the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, early steps were taken by the state governments. About 80,000 were evacuated to 470 relief camps from the districts which were vulnerable to the cyclone in Tamil Nadu.[1] Holidays were also announced in the coastal districts of the Cauvery delta region in Tamil Nadu as well as Puducherry.[2] People were advised not to come out of the house, as the cyclone caused high winds. Preventative measures were explained through all media.[3]

The Best Crafty Guides by Odealo
Estimated budget: mediocre
Guide notes |
September 24, 2020 -Updated for Patch 3.12 -Guide completely reworked for current content October 2, 2020 -Updated gameplay video |
Cyclone is one of the most popular, and the most enjoyable Melee Skills in Path of Exile. With the buffs to both Melee combat and the Berserker Ascendancy class in Patch 3.7, this became one of the most deadly combinations in the game. Rage alone grants 150% increased Attack Damage, 50% Attack Speed, and 30% Movement Speed (or more with Berserking Passive). This build is in Top Tier when it comes to scaling DPS. This build can easily reach tens of Millions of DPS if you include massive Impale bonuses, however, you should treat it as a glass cannon type of build. Still, it is one of the most enjoyable Melee builds out there, as you can spin through the entire Map without stopping and everything will die on your path.
You can also check our other Path of Exile builds: Odealo's Crafty Guides - Full List
1. Gameplay
This is a very straight-forward Melee build which lets you spin through enemies and obliterate everything on your way. It utilizes high DPS Two-Handed Swords and relies on purely Physical Damage. You will use multiple Auras including Pride, Flesh and Stone, and Precision - depending on your equipment and Mana Pool. This build is also heavily reliant on Rage which is accumulated while you fight - with high Cyclone's Hit coefficiency this takes seconds to reach the maximum level, and when you cast Berserk while at maximum Rage, you will melt Bosses in a matter of seconds. For the defenses, this build utilizes high Life (somewhere between 5.5 to 7k), insane Life Leech, Physical Damage mitigation, and various defensive bonuses while channelling skills from the Passives and Infused Channelling Gem.

3. Leveling tips
For the leveling, you can use any Melee Skill that can be used with Two-Handed Swords. Cyclone Gta Cost
Below you will find all the recommended items for this build. This build is very flexible, and you can replace all the items with rare equipment and similar stats. You should primarily focus increases to Physical/Melee and Crit. Multiplier, and of course Life and Elemental Resistances.
Using this opportunity, we would love to invite you to visit our Path of Exile Marketplace where you can buy cheap PoE Currency in case you can't afford all the items for your character.
Our recommended items will:
